Poster
Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006If you go to high school or middle school in the Kingston or Onteora school districts, you are eligible to participate in the Environmental Expo Poster Contest! Woohoo!
Poster Contest Rules:
- Create a poster that conveys a pro-environment message. Be creative!
- The poster should be no less than 11 inches by 14 inches, and no more than 30 inches by 30 inches.
- Put the following on the back of the poster: creator’s name, grade, phone number and address.
- Prizes: $50 Catskill Art Supply gift certificate first prize, $25 second prize. Middle School and High Schools are separate divisions.
- All posters will be displayed at the Environmental Expo, Saturday March 31 at the Community Center.
- Winners of the contest will be decided by a vote of all who come to the Expo.
- The voting starts at 10:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM, and winners will be announced shortly after.
- If you’re not there to accept your prize, it will be mailed to you. (That’s why we need your address!)
- There are two ways to submit your poster:
- Give it to the teacher at your school who is collecting posters. Onteora students- Mr. Knoche!
- If this is not possible, the other way is to bring it to the Woodstock Community Center on the day of the Expo by 10:00 AM.
